A trusted contact is a person Gazelle support can talk to freely if you're ever locked out of your account or can't speak for yourself. Gazelle will verify with the contact before taking any actions on your behalf.
Your trusted contact cannot directly take any actions on your account. They are not a contingent beneficiary. Choose someone you trust who isn't already connected to your Gazelle account, like a family member or close friend.
Every team member can add their own trusted contact, whatever their access level. Only you can see yours. It doesn't appear when an admin opens your profile.
Add, change, or remove your trusted contact
Open your profile. On the web app, go to Settings > Your Profile. On the mobile app, go to Settings and tap your profile card at the top.
In the Security section, click or tap Trusted contact.
Enter your contact's details:
Enter their name and phone number. Both are required. For a number in another country, include the country code.
Optional: Enter their Email and Relationship.
Click or tap Save.
To remove your trusted contact on the web app, click Trusted contact, click Remove Contact, then click Remove to confirm. On the mobile app, press and hold Trusted contact, tap Remove Trusted Contact, then tap Remove.
NOTE: You can change the contact at any time. If you added an email address, Gazelle emails the contact to let them know they were added in this role. Gazelle also emails you every time your trusted contact is added, changed, or removed. A contact can ask to be removed by contacting Gazelle support.
