How do I create an excluded service area?

Creating a negative (or excluded) service area.

Creating excluded service areas (often referred to as 'negative' service areas) for each of your technicians is easy!


FROM THE WEB APP

Step 1: Go to Settings > Scheduling > Select a technician > Select 'Service Areas'

Step 2: Create a new service area or select an existing one to edit.

Step 3: Select the 'Service area type: Defined Boundary' and layer a new boundary on the map.

Step 4: For this boundary click 'Excluded'

Step 5: Save & Done.

NOTE: All areas outside the green boundary are automatically excluded unless you have an 'extended service area' setting selected for this service area. Having only an excluded service area (without any included areas) is of no functional benefit.


FROM THE MOBILE APP

This setting can only be changed by logging into the Web App at this time.
