How do I change my default ‘Technician selection’ behavior?

Changing the 'Default' technician offered to clients when they are self-scheduling.

Changing the default 'Technician selection' behavior of your self-scheduler is easy!


FROM THE WEB APP

Step 1: Go to Settings > Self-scheduler.

Step 2: Select 'Technician Selection' and choose from the options provided.

Step 3: Done.



This setting changes how your client experiences 'Step 3: Preferences' when self-scheduling.


Any Technician

Selecting 'Any Technician' will default to 'Any Technician' while still giving the client the opportunity to select a specific technician.

Preferred Technician

Selecting 'Preferred Technician' will default to the client's preferred technician if this is a returning client who has a preferred technician selected. Otherwise, it will default to 'Any Technician'.

Hidden

Selecting 'Hidden' will hide the technician selector in self-scheduling 'Step 3: Preferences' while still displaying options for various technicians if they happen to be available when selecting appointments in Step 4.


FROM THE MOBILE APP

This setting can only be changed by logging into the Web App at this time.
