How Do I Change A Customer's Status?

Changing a customer's status (or bulk changing a group of customer statuses)..

Manually changing a customer's status from 'Prospect / New / Active / Inactive' is easy!

NOTE: To bulk change a group of client statuses scroll to the bottom of this article.


FROM THE WEB APP

Step 1: Go to the 'Clients' menu

Step 2: Select a customer to edit.

Step 3: Click the 'Status' button at the top right of the page.

Step 4: Select a different customer status.

Step 5: Done.

NOTE: Gazelle automatically changes your customer status from 'Prospect, to New, to Active' using triggers on the customer file and the timing of when they schedule & complete their first appointment. However, only you can inactivate a customer record.


FROM THE MOBILE APP

Step 1: Tap Menu > Clients > Select a customer to edit.

Step 2: Tap the 'More' action button.

Step 3: Tap 'Status' to edit.

Step 4: Done.

Bulk Changing Groups Of Customer Status

Step 1:: Create a filtered list of clients on the main client tab.
Step 2: Click 'Edit 241' in the header to edit the entire list.
Step 3: Change status and document the reason.
Step 4: Save & Done.
