Matching online reservations to existing customers (including creating new customer records and/or resolving conflicts with an existing customer's data) is easy! Gazelle helps you do this in two ways:

When you message any customer through Gazelle and include a 'Book Now' or 'Reschedule' button in the body of your message, Gazelle directs the customer to a 'Private Booking Link' that pre-loads all their customer information and automatically matches this reservation to a specific customer record. You will still be prompted to Approve/Decline this reservation; however when it shows up in your Reservation center you will notice it is already matched to a specific customer record and piano (See image below).

A 'Public Scheduling Link' is what you use to invite anyone to book an appointment (i.e. you should use your company's 'Public Scheduling Link' to put a 'Book Now' button on your website). When a customer schedules using your company's 'Public Scheduling Link' Gazelle isn't always sure if this is a new customer or an existing customer; so we do our best to create a soft match and then rely on you to do the rest.

In the example below "Jessica French" used the public scheduling link. She is the spouse of "Kevin Abshire" who is already a customer. They are married but Jessica has a different last name. In this situation we rely on you to make the final decision as to whether this reservation is for an existing customer or whether the correct course of action is to "Create a new client record" with the information in the reservation.
