Changing the status of a piano record in Gazelle is easy. When selecting a piano status you have four options. Only 'Active' pianos count towards your billing limits.

Active Pianos

Active pianos are pianos you currently service (or plan to service in the future). The subscription plan for your account will determine how many "Active" pianos you can have at any given time.

Inactive Pianos

Inactive pianos are read-only and do not count towards your subscription limits. Inactive pianos are considered by Gazelle to never be due for service, they do not receive automated reminders, they cannot be added to an invoice, and they cannot have a future appointment on the calendar unless the status is changed to 'active', Read this article to change a piano's status.

Temporary Storage

Pianos in "Temporary Storage" are read-only and do not count towards your subscription limits. They are pianos that are not being used because they are in transit (or storage). These pianos do not receive automated reminders and cannot be added to invoices or appointments unless the status is changed to 'Active'.

Under Restoration

Pianos "Under Restoration" are read-only and do not count towards your subscription limits and are pianos that are in your shop undergoing restoration. These pianos do not receive automated reminders and cannot be added to invoices or appointments unless the status is changed to 'Active'.
