If you have a difficult address that Gazelle's mapping providers cannot locate, we have a few options to help find your client's location that does not use an address to find routes and get better results.

All of Gazelle's location types are available for use in web and mobile app for any location based use including manually scheduled events and client records. When setting the location, you can choose to use one of these location types to identify where you are going. You can also make these options available on the client Self Scheduler.

Location Types

Street Address

When you "Find an address" by entering it into the text box, Gazelle works with mapping providers to verify that the location given is one that can be navigated to based on their mapping. If an address cannot be found, it is not possible to navigate to that location. Without a valid location, then the system will use your Fall Back travel time set in your service area for scheduling purposes. In this case, it would be better to use one of the alternate location types, and enter the address as a mailing address so that there is still record of an address for the client.

Lattitude / Longitude Coordinates

Gazelle allows you to use Lattitude / Longitude coordinates by clicking on a map to set a pin at the exact location. These coordinates are able to be used by mapping providers to create accurate navigation and travel times.

What3Words

///what3words (www.what3words.com) is a more precise way of locating a specific address or hard to find location. This location type can also be used by mapping providers to create accurate navigation and travel times

Mapping Providers

Behind the scenes Gazelle is integrated with multiple mapping providers. If alternate location types do not work for you and your clients, or you still have too many addresses not being found, a different mapping provider might yield better results. You can request a change in mapping provider.
