How do I bulk inactivate (or bulk edit) piano files if the piano is no longer being serviced?

Filtering for pianos (and clients) that are no longer being serviced and bulk editing piano statuses to 'inactive' is easy. We recommend doing this at a minimum once a year to help keep your active client list updated and uncluttered. Consider sending a final reminder to any clients before inactivating them.

***Before inactivating unserviced pianos***

to update all pianos with the most recent 'Last Tuned Date'!

FROM THE WEB APP

Step 1: Go to Pianos > Add Filter.

Step 2: (Optional) Select the filter for 'Pianos that have never been tuned' or 'Pianos not tuned for 24 months'. You can also choose 'Pianos not tuned for 36 months' or 'Pianos not tuned for 60 months' depending on what timeframe you want.

Step 3: (Optional) add/edit the filters to find other pianos you want to inactivate.

Step 4: Click 'Edit' on the right side of the header to make bulk edits.
โ€‹Step 5: Click 'Change Status' and select 'Inactive'.

Step 6: Done.

Don't forget to also inactivate clients with only inactive pianos to help keep your client list clean and organized.

FROM THE MOBILE APP

Note: Before you begin, go to 'Dashboard' and check your 'Uncompleted Appointments'. Complete any uncompleted past appointments! If you do not do this, your data will be incomplete and you may inactivate pianos that you have recently serviced but whose record has not been updated with the most recent 'Last Tuned Date'.

Step 1: From the menu tap on Pianos > Add Filter.

Step 2: (Optional) Tap the filter for 'Pianos that have never been tuned' or 'Pianos not tuned for 24 months'.

Step 3: (Optional) add/edit the filters to find other pianos you want to inactivate.

Step 4: Tap 'Edit' on the right side of the header to make bulk edits.
โ€‹Step 5: Tap 'Change Status' and select 'Inactive'.

Step 6: Done.

Don't forget to also inactivate clients with only inactive pianos to help keep your client list clean and organized.
