To comply with regulatory opt-in/opt-out requirements for SMS follow these steps:

Step 1: Change the default behavior between opting in and opting out.

On the web site, go to Settings > Company Profile. Under the section titled "SMS Messaging", look for the checkbox titled "Require self scheduling clients to opt-in to SMS".

When this box is checked, new customers will be asked to opt-in to SMS reminders. When the box is not checked, new customers will be asked to opt-out of SMS reminders. Here's what your customers will see:

Step 2: Save your changes.

That's it! Your clients will now be asked to either opt in or opt out of SMS allowing you to comply with regulations in your local jurisdiction.
